Departments of Public Works QLD

The Department of Public Works leads the Queensland Government’s capital works building program. The department designs, constructs and maintains government facilities, and also consolidates information and communication technology infrastructure. With such a varied work environment, looking after the health of their people is a challenging but important task.

Hatch

The Hatch Group provides process and detail engineering, technologies, business consulting and project & construction management services to the Mining and Metals, Energy and Infrastructure sectors around the world. Its Australian division employs in excess of 1,500 employees spread diversely around the country, in 11 main offices in Vic, NSW, Qld, SA and WA.

Port of Brisbane

The Port of Brisbane Corporation is a Government Owned Corporation responsible for the operation and management of Australia’s third busiest container port. Healthy Farmer

The Healthy Farmers program over the length of its existence has set out to reach the more remote and inaccessible working Queenslanders, be they individuals or groups ( families / business units). A secondary intent was to create a Healthy Farmers Index, that would serve to benchmark farmers against other industries and to assist in improving the quality and accessibility of services for them where they lived.

Testimonials

"I am really pleased with the professionalism shown by Ford health in the organisation of the health assessments and with how the health assessments went as a whole. The response that we received from the majority of the participants was good which is a credit to your organisation. We are looking forward to the report and analysing the results as a whole."

Chris HR Manager Brisbane [2011]

"As always a great boost for another year. Since starting the program I know i have made significant improvements in my overall health and will continue to capitalise on the advice and targets. Thanks"

Rob Executive Health Assessment Participant

"Be Active inspired me to get off the Tube several stops early on my daily commute, and to do the same in the evening. As well as getting me fitter and helping me increase my step count, as an added bonus I found that doing this could save me a lot of money, as my Tube journey was much shorter and therefore cheaper. Having the extra money in my pocket is an added incentive to keep my Be Active route going throughout the year!"
